ERA REAL ESTATE TURNS SALES INTO TRAINING
Sales professionals vie for chance to win free professional training PARSIPPANY, NJ, April 21, 2003 – ERA® sales professionals are setting their professional development sights even higher than usual as they compete in the ERA Real Estate 2003 Home Listing Contest, which features career-building opportunities as prizes. The "Get On Course Listing Contest" challenges sales associates and selling brokers affiliated with ERA franchised brokerages nationwide to grow their local market share by increasing listings. Prizes in several categories (based on company size) will be presented to the top 75 sales professionals with the greatest number of 90-day listing agreements. The three-month contest runs through July 31. Winners will receive a certificate worth $250 toward tuition for ERA eCampus courses. The educational programs offer affiliates a comprehensive online source for skill development, personal enrichment and ERA-specific training. Classes range from "Talking Your Way to a Legendary Reputation" and "Successfully Managing Workplace Stress" to "Double Your Sales Without Quadrupling Effort." Recently, the roster of eCampus course offerings more than doubled to include classes such as "Palm Advanced: Controlling Your World" and "Digital Camera Essentials." P.J. Martin Smith, senior vice president, marketing, ERA Real Estate, said the home listing contest is a vehicle to create a healthy competition among colleagues and challenge the brand's membership. "Our membership utilizes incentive programs such as the listing contest as an opportunity to set new goals to effectively compete with other ERA sales professionals nationwide," Smith said. "This year's prize package was created as a result of the new eCampus courses' popularity. ERA sales professionals like the opportunity to further their skills and knowledge from the comfort of their home or office – 24 hours a day, seven days a week." To learn more about the listing contest, ERA affiliates can visit TeamERA.com, the brand's award-winning Intranet site.
