Brenda W. Casserly Brenda W. Casserly is president and chief executive officer of ERA Real Estate. She is responsible for the growth, development and strategic direction of one of the world's leading residential franchise brokerage networks. Prior to becoming president and chief executive officer, Casserly served as president and chief operating officer. Under her leadership, Casserly helped ERA Real Estate increase its annual sales volume by more than 50 percent, while also helping the franchise network enjoy significant growth in terms of offices and sales associates. Casserly had served as chief operating officer prior to being appointed president and was responsible for day-to-day operations including service support, educational development, special events, and awards and recognition programs. She has been the driving force in the development of many of the tools ERA Real Estate provides to its brokers and sales associates to help them succeed both personally and professionally. Casserly's real estate career spans more than two decades. Prior to joining ERA in 1998 as senior vice president, Casserly held several executive positions with other national real estate companies, including senior vice president, chief operating officer, and director of operations review. In addition to her experience in corporate management, Casserly operated Coldwell Banker Security Real Estate, a multi-office real estate company in the tri-city area of Tennessee and Virginia. Like many real estate professionals, she began her career as a sales associate. Casserly holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in History/Sociology and a Master's of Arts degree in Consultative Psychology from East Tennessee State University. This past year, Casserly was named one of the 2004 Women of Influence by NJBIZ for her professional accomplishments.
