ERA REAL ESTATE NETWORK CONTINUES STRATEGIC GROWTH WITH ADDITION OF 17 NEW BROKERAGE AFFILIATES AND 26 OFFICES IN THE THIRD QUARTER
PARSIPPANY, N.J., (October 31, 2007) – ERA Franchise Systems LLC reported today third quarter growth that included the addition of 17 new residential brokerage affiliates to its global franchise network as well the expanded operations of eight existing affiliates through mergers, acquisitions or the opening of new offices. Thus far in 2007, a total of 40 new firms have joined the ERA Real Estate franchise network. "ERA Real Estate has shown an impressive resiliency and consistency in terms of its network growth in 2007," said Brenda W. Casserly, president and chief executive officer of ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "The third quarter was our best so far this year in terms of new affiliates joining our network. Also, the number of existing firms expanding their businesses within ERA has mirrored results from the first and second quarters of this year, which is a credit to our existing franchisees." In the third quarter of this year, a total of 17 new affiliates with 26 offices spread out over 11 states joined the ERA franchise system. In terms of business expansions, 10 existing ERA franchisees expanded their base of operations, thus raising the year-to-date total to 31 brokerages that have grown their geographic base within the ERA network. Four of these firms opened new locations in Florida and two companies have opened the doors to new locations in Massachusetts in the third quarter. ERA Franchise Systems strengthened its market presence on the West Coast with four new firms joining the network in California, adding 11 office locations in the prime market areas of: Burbank, Mission Viejo, Victorville, Torrance, Rancho Cucamonga, Carson, Cerritos, Chatsworth, West Lancaster, Palmdale and Van Nuys.
