My Experience

• I am a licensed real estate Broker in the State of Texas and have a GRI designation. I started my real estate career in 1991 with Jerry Hughes Realty and have been listing and selling homes, land and commercial properties for 31 years. I also have many years of experience working with relocation companies moving buyers and sellers in and out of our area with local industry. I started my career in realMy father-in-law Jerry Hughes opened the family business in 1977 with the help of my wonderful mother-in-law Loretta. Our firm sold to American Real Estate in 2017 and we became associated with the ERA franchise. Prior to becoming a Realtor I worked in the banking industry and also attended Lamar University for four years. I work full time listing and selling in Southeast Texas and am the Market Leader for the Orange office, top producer for the entire American Real Estate Company and have been recognized as one of the top 10 agents in Texas and one of the Nations Best by Real Trends Magazine. I am married to my high school sweetheart Glenn Hughes, owner of 2G3D Photography and we have two wonderful children. Our son Ben graduated from University Of The South in Sewanee Tennessee with a Bachelor's degree and completed his Masters Degree at Vanderbilt. He and his beautiful wife Lisa live and work in Nashville Tennessee and have blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters, Isabella who is 3 years old and Emersyn who is 4 months old. Our daughter Kayla graduated from Sam Houston State University and went on to Texas A&M where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She and her wonderful husband Nick live and work in the College Station area and have blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren as well. Mackenzie is 4 years old and Ian just turned 1 year old. As you can imagine "NaNa" and "Paw Paw "love spending time with our grandchildren! My other interest include traveling, being outdoors. cooking and reading. I was born and raised in Orange Texas and real estate has been an amazing career for me. I love that fact that every transaction is different and that you get to meet such amazing people from all over the country and help them become a part of our wonderful communities in and around Southeast Texas. My Community Involvement

• Having been born and raised in Orange, Texas I have spent years volunteering in the community. I am currently serving as Director for the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation, Director for the Orange Lions Club, Orange Rotary member, serve on the Orange County Community Development Block Grant Committee, sustaining member of the Service League of Orange and member of the Orange and Bridge City Chamber of Commerce.
