William Sherr combines knowledge, dedication, patience and enthusiasm to serve his real estate clients. He has firsthand knowledge of the unique pressures of relocating and can offer guidance to ease that transition. As a former teacher, William embraces the importance of lifelong learning and, in that tradition, continually strives to improve his own knowledge, negotiating skills and customer service in support of his clients.
With his keen interest in real estate, philanthropy, art, and design, William has bought, renovated and sold many of his own properties and has served on non-profit boards, neighborhood associations, local and national family groups, as well as volunteering in the community.
Currently, he lives with his family in Pelham. William is the father of three children, two from private adoptions and one foster-to-adopt, he and his husband are actively involved in promoting equality for all families. William acknowledges and nurtures diversity, not only as a father in an ethnically blended family but also as a foster dad to various children with cultural and physical needs. As a husband and father, William balances his home life with his professional life while continuing his philanthropic service most prominently as a member of the Emeritus Board of Directors for Family Equality.
