I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and went to college in North Carolina where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Business at Wake Forest University. After college, I spent four years in the DC area working for a business intelligence company until I decided to move to Maine. My parents relocated to Maine while I was in college, and I immediately discovered that the phrase "Maine, the way life should be" resonated deeply with me. After my move to Maine, I transitioned to the banking industry and worked in credit, mortgages, and retail branch management until Samuel was born in 2014. Shortly after moving, I also met my husband who crashed into my car while I was turning into the Lucerne Inn parking lot on his way home from his ship in Australia. We were married two years later at the Lucerne Inn.
While at home with Samuel and Noah, I was able to earn my MBA through Husson University. I also discovered the joy of cooking healthy meals for my family and filled many of my days with library story hours, Bangor parks and recreation open gym, Music Together, Mommy and Me swimming classes, and many playdates! It was a tremendous change from a full-time career!
In the winters, my family and I love to downhill ski. We frequent Sugarloaf, Sunday River, Hermon, and Squaw. We extend our ski season as much as we can! We start the first open weekend in October or November and stretch it out (some years to as far as May) for the last skiing weekend in the spring. We spend our summers biking in Acadia, camping on Long Lake in Naples, Maine, swimming at The Lucerne Beach Club on Phillips Lake, and hiking any mountain we can find. I also enjoy landscape photography and am a Juvenile Diabetes Research Advocate-a disease I have had since I was two years old.
I am happy to have finally joined the ERA Dawson-Bradford Co., REALTORS® team as I look to enhance and supplement my property management company, Serenity Management LLC while helping people find their dream home!
