A native of Rome, Georgia, I graduated from Darlington School and came to Atlanta in 1982 to attend Emory University. I graduated with a BBA in Accounting in 1986. I began investing in real estate as a hobby while working as a CPA but quickly realized that I greatly preferred my hobby to my accounting career. I became licensed and started my real estate career in 1993.
Over my first few years in the business I was consistently a top performer, became a Lifetime Million Dollar Club Member, and learned how to properly represent and negotiate for my clients. In addition to my experience as an agent, I have personally purchased, renovated and sold numerous properties over the last 20 years. I also developed and sold a condominium project in the late 90s giving me a great depth of knowledge when working with attached properties or developers.
I thrive in the vibrant atmosphere and classic charm of intown neighborhoods where I have lived since 1982. I spent many years as caregiver to my grandparents and really appreciate and understand the special needs of growing families and multi-generational households. Years of renovating properties has given me a great ability to recognize a diamond in the rough to help clients get the most for their money or minimize the cost to make a property market ready.
I appreciate the opportunity to put my varied real estate experience and life lessons to work for you in your next real estate transaction.
