Adam Warnock

Adam Warnock was my realtor for the sale of my last big house when I downsized after retiring. Adam was fully invested in the preparation of my home for sale. His advice was always valuable and his willingness to invest his own physical labor made my difficult task possible. He is an experienced mover and made himself available to help me with physically moving furniture and boxes, taking stuff to Goodwill or Saver's, and going out of his way to help me out in every instance he could. His own life was challenging at this time, even separate from the pandemic. He was not able to meet me every day, but he always made up for the missed opportunity by putting in the work later. His personal investment and his contributions in terms of making contacts, meeting people (workmen, fire inspector, others) and physically helping me to move out were striking and essential to the success of my downsizing project. As we moved into the listing and showings, Adam proved highly knowledgeable about the real estate market, even the stranger aspects that appeared during the coronavirus pandemic, and guided me through the process and taught me why things work as they do. He contacted the workmen we needed for various aspects of preparing the house and did research to advise me on the priorities for getting a sale and getting it at the right price. Adam and I each have a set of twins who went through the Chelmsford Public Schools, mostly together. We had met a few times through the years. But it was going through this downsizing project that made us friends. He really wanted me to succeed and put his expertise and his own personal labor into the project to achieve that end. I now live in a nice apartment (and some storage rooms), much smaller than the big house. Fewer bills, smaller bills. We got my asking price for the big house, which did pay off the loans I took out for improving the house and grounds for the sale, and left me some change to live on for a while. I could not have done it without the extra miles that Adam invested all through the process. His expertise and his generosity with his time and labor were essential to my success. It is thus my pleasure to offer this review. Sometimes we encounter stories that are too good to be true. This one sounds like it might be one of those, but no, we really did it. It was hard.
