Satisfaction Rating An agent's star rating is the average of all the ratings of their service.
Choosing an agent who is a good fit for you is very important. Am I the right fit for you? Let me share a bit about myself so you can make that decision.

If you want a Realtor who is just chasing a commission, or who just sees you as another number, I am not the Realtor for you.

If you want a Realtor with 23 years of experience; who is a fierce advocate for his clients; who treats each transaction as the most important transaction; and who gets outstanding results for his clients, then I am the right Realtor for you. If you want a Realtor who believes that we have 2 ears and 1 mouth because we should listen twice as much as we talk, than I am the right Realtor for you.

I have helped people buy and sell homes in every city and town in the Triangle. I rank in the top 10% nationally among all Realtors. I have been my company's Top Producer over the past decade. Most importantly, I have a long list of very happy clients.

Using meticulous attention to detail, creative and unique marketing and negotiating techniques, and bringing good humor and tremendous enthusiasm to my job. You will not find a Realtor who cares more about their clients than me.

I may not be the right Realtor for everyone, but hopefully, you'll contact me to see if I am the right Realtor for you. For more information about me, go to my personal web site at

I found my forever realtor in Gary Yellin! He is not allowed to retire or move ha-ha! When he helped us find the perfect condo for our disabled family member to move close to us, he made a stressful process easy. The reason for that ease: Gary. His personality is calming, helpful, and positive. He listened acutely to our needs and continued to check in throughout to ensure he understood what we needed and also to verify whether anything had changed. His lengthy experience in the field and in this area was a tremendous help to understand properties and their value. It is clear he has worked hard to develop relationships over his career. Everyone seemed to know and love Gary --from our insurance agent to the banker. He was so committed to us, he came out to look at properties even when he was not feeling his best and really needed to go home and rest! He is so genuine that the few times he did not know an answer to a question, he admitted it and quickly found it without us needing to prompt for the information. See? Easy. It felt like a longtime friend supporting us rather than a business relationship. That is because Gary treats people well and truly loves the work he does every day. I will never consider using another real estate agent again and have referred many to him since our purchase October 2018! Laurie Nederveen

Gary Yellin and his team are absolutely INCREDIBLE! Gary helped me and my family purchase our first home, then a few years later, he helped us sell our home since we were moving out of state. Not only is Gary very personable and friendly, but he helps walk you through every step of the buying and selling process. He is really an outstanding realtor - we cannot recommend him enough if you are looking to buy or sell your home in the Raleigh-Durham area. Gary and his team are trustworthy, fun to be around, very knowledgeable about the industry, and quick to make you a top priority. We cannot thank Gary enough for all the hard work and heart he put into helping us with our home.

Gary is great to work with for buying and selling. He works hard to help his clients select what best meets needs. Gary knows this market. He guided us through buying and selling and always knew what we needed to reduce the stress. Gary is relaxed and never pushes his clients. Great realtor and Gary will be the one we pick if we go through the process again!

No need to look for another realtor! Gary is the best! We worked with him on selling our old house and buying our new one. As you would expect, Gary is the consument professional. He has extensive knowledge of the housing market and is plugged into a network of experts (lending, appraisals, inspections, etc.) that assured us of a great result. But what makes Gary special is his genuine care in doing whatever it takes to produce a result that's best and right for us!

The wife and I moved into the Raleigh area a few years ago when I was relocated by my company. The move was difficult because housing in Raleigh sells so fast and homes we saw and liked were under contract almost overnight. Gary was very patient with us and showed us an incredible number of homes (60+). We eventually found a home that met all of our needs and have been in it a few years. Gary's knowledge of the area, the local housing market, his patience and professionalism made all the difference. We love the house we moved into and have remained friends with Gary since the sale. I highly recommend Gary to anyone moving into the area, or selling a home. Jack O.

Gary is a very professional and genuinely nice person who cares about his clients. He listens to your needs and works hard to help you find the home you are looking for. With Gary's knowledge of real estate and of the local area, along with his honesty, I would recommend using him as your real estate agent. He goes above and beyond to see that his clients are happy with the outcome.

Dreaming of life on a golf course?

There was a time when real estate agents could confidently tell their clients that one of the biggest advantages of owning a home on a golf course is that the verdant view would be permanent.Today, many owners face a view of brown, dead fairways, vandalized buildings and uncertainty about what may pop up when the land is sold.Chalk it up to the busyness of Americans. The lengthy game of golf has declined in popularity, leaving course owners to deal with the consequences.Or, blame the oversupply ...

    3 Things about buying a new-construction home

Will this be the year you buy a brand-new home? Don't be discouraged by news reports claiming that "U.S. home building fell," or "housing starts dropped."The scary-sounding numbers are due to a drop in multi-family home building, not single-family.In fact, the single-family home construction market across the country is set to be just fine, with a surge in new building permits late this summer.Moving into a newly-built home is a lot like the first time you sit behind the wheel of a new car, but ...

Kick stink bugs out of the house, naturally

If you haven't met your fair share of stink bugs this year, brace yourself. Although stink bug season is officially from March through September, the cooler it gets outdoors, the bigger the problem.Brown marmorated stink bugs infest both the interior of homes and the garden. In the garden, they feed on fruit and vegetable crops, causing spots and decay. They prefer to overwinter indoors, in homes. While they aren't considered harmful to humans or to the home, they create lots of noise and, if bot...
