My Client Reviews
Kathy Hansinger is the best! Answered every question my wife and I came up with. From helping us find our dream home in another state to financing and taxes. It can be difficult working with someone from distance but once we met her we knew she was the realtor for us. Quick to respond, her knowledgeable, professional help made this a trouble free experience.
Kathy helped me relocate to the US from France over 8 years ago, and she really made the transition manageable for me. She found me the best rental house i could have hoped for, drove me around town time and time again to show me all the best places. She dealt with my broken english and helped me get my driver's license, SS number, bank accounts, everything! Kathy is passionate and dedicated, professional yet funny! She connected me to other relocated people so i would have friends to hang out with and some support. She really took care of me when i needed it. After a few years, i was looking for a house of my own, and there again, Kathy did it. She found my dream home, in a great location (walking distance from downtown Cary, NC, i doesn't get better than this) right in my budget. Kathy is really someone special. She cares about her clients and about the community. She has a fantastic network of friends and professionals, and knows all the tricks of the trade, which makes her a top notch real estate agent. I would recommend Kathy's services in a heart beat. I wish there were more people like her out there. Thanks again for all you did for me Kathy!
Kathy has been instrumental in informing me about the current marketplace. She was also instrumental in helping me find my current condo in Chicago, which has tripled in price.
Kathy is a dynamo agent. She is funny and smart, and helped give my wife and I a clear lay of the land when we were considering a move to the Raleigh Durham area. She really took the time to get to know our likes and home styles, and was very invested throughout the search process. We looked at many excellent homes (and even stopped at a couple brew pubs along the way -- a needed break); we never once felt pressured or rushed. And while the job transfer (and need for a home) never materialized for us, I highly recommend Kathy as THE realtor to consult. I wish she was in Chicago!
There was a time when real estate agents could confidently tell their clients that one of the biggest advantages of owning a home on a golf course is that the verdant view would be permanent.Today, many owners face a view of brown, dead fairways, vandalized buildings and uncertainty about what may pop up when the land is sold.Chalk it up to the busyness of Americans. The lengthy game of golf has declined in popularity, leaving course owners to deal with the consequences.Or, blame the oversupply ...

Will this be the year you buy a brand-new home? Don't be discouraged by news reports claiming that "U.S. home building fell," or "housing starts dropped."The scary-sounding numbers are due to a drop in multi-family home building, not single-family.In fact, the single-family home construction market across the country is set to be just fine, with a surge in new building permits late this summer.Moving into a newly-built home is a lot like the first time you sit behind the wheel of a new car, but ...

If you haven't met your fair share of stink bugs this year, brace yourself. Although stink bug season is officially from March through September, the cooler it gets outdoors, the bigger the problem.Brown marmorated stink bugs infest both the interior of homes and the garden. In the garden, they feed on fruit and vegetable crops, causing spots and decay. They prefer to overwinter indoors, in homes. While they aren't considered harmful to humans or to the home, they create lots of noise and, if bot...
