This is the second time we've worked with Jim, and he always goes above and beyond to make sure that the process is so smooth for us. Anybody looking for a realtor should definitely get a hold of Jim. He mowed the lawn and help to make sure everything was ready to go for us to list and start showing the house. He really really tries to go above and beyond, we are not just saying that. He's very honest and very reliable, which is very refreshing in this field! Thank you Jim!

My husband and I made a somewhat spontaneous trip to look for houses and linked up with Jim through our local out-of-state realtor. Jim was fabulous to work with! We started with a Zoom call to introduce ourselves and discuss what we thought we wanted to see while in town. He set up an online search so we could keep an eye on the "super hot" CO market and see listings immediately. Upon arrival, we met with Jim (and his wife Corina, also fabulous!) and viewed four houses. A couple we were immediately able to rule out and we agreed to meet the next day to see one of them again. Jim was SUPER responsive to our questions and calls and made himself available on New Year's Eve to revisit the house, work through an offer (and acceptance) and set up the documents and paperwork. The buying process had a few kinks (as they all seem to have!) and Jim was great to work with through the inspection, repairs and resolution. As we were out of state, he performed the final walk-through for us and followed up on the couple of remaining items after the walk-through. Closing and managing this from out-of-state could have been a total nightmare, but Jim made it so easy for us! We are thrilled to be in our house and highly recommend Jim for anyone looking for a realtor!

Excellent experience working with Jim. He knows the area extremely well, he always had an answer whether it was a vendor or resource I was in need of, he was very flexible and attentive to my individual needs, and he was not afraid to give me honest feedback. I plan on recommending him to any friend or family member of mine interested in buying a house in the Colorado Springs area.

The process can seem very confusing, but he was ready to answer literally any question I had and made things easy and simple. From sitting down and discussing my initial thoughts on a home all the way through closing, I had zero concerns. Jim is an amazing realtor and friend. Great to have by your side when going through good or bad changes of selling or buying a home. You need help packing, moving, or loading. He will be there. He works his hardest to make sure the transition of buying or selling goes smoothly and fast. You will be lucky to have him by your side. He is very knowledgeable about the area, professional yet caring, communicates and you can trust him with your home. My family and I are blessed to have meet him and grateful for all the help.

Jim assisted our family with the purchase of a home. He went out of his way to ensure that he knew what we were after and located a number of properties to show us that were consistent with what we wanted. Once we located a home to purchase he showed excellent knowledge and expertise in the negotiating, inspection, and closing process. Additionally, he went out of his way to explain the home buying process, the various documents we needed to review, and maintained great communication throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him and have already done so to others.

Having bought and sold many homes in my lifetime I can speak intelligently about Realtors. Jim is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All the things you look for in an agent you will find with Jim. He knows the area and gives great attention to the needs of the client. He is willing to go the extra mile to make sure the experience is a pleasant one. If issues or barriers do arise, he handles them quickly and professionally. We did almost all our looking from out of state and he was willing to scout properties we found online. When we did come in to look at homes he was ready with everything we needed to make a wise decision. After the contract was accepted Jim served us at every point from working with our inspector to coordinating some complicated closing logistics to assisting us in connecting with trades people to do needed work before we moved in. If you are looking for a Realtor who is a True Partner in your buying process you can't do better than Jim Hill. This former Marine served us very well!

Jim Hill did a phenomenal job selling our home. My wife and I are dual military. I'm deployed to Afghanistan and she just relocated to Georgia. Despite being on opposite ends of the world, Jim was able to effectively market our home, make sure it was ready to sell, and negotiate on our behalf to seal the deal. I had tried to sell the home through a different realtor last fall, but they fell short and couldn't get it sold. Jim was able to get multiple offers very quickly and that gave us options to decide from. Very excellent customer serivice and veteran friendly. I would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to sell their home in the Colorado Springs area.

As a military family purchasing our first home from out of state, we chose Jim as our buying agent because he educated us on the market, which favored sellers, and he offered video walkthroughs of places and acted as 'our nose,' saving us from a house that smelled like marijuana. I don't recommend Jim for first-time homebuyers who have questions or people who need time to think over decisions before making them. Taking time to ask questions and think through this big decision appeared to annoy Jim. Throughout this process it felt like Jim was working not for me, but for the deal.   Three days before closing, I asked Jim a question about an amend-extend that was sent to us unexpectedly. I had misremembered previous dollar amounts, and wanted to know how this came about. Instead of Jim calmly explaining things to me, he lost his professional bearing, yelled at me through the phone, accused me of poor character, cursed and hung up on me. Later, Jim texted me to apologize, and he allowed me to write this review. The next day ERA Shields supervisor Cathi helped us clear the air and reconcile. Jim admitted his wrongdoing and humbly said he is working on patience, which says a lot about his character. Even after this incident, Jim followed through on a promise to personally remove exposed nails from a fence so that the backyard would be safe for our children by move-in. I fully expect Jim is growing better every day, so I recommend him to those looking for a hard-charging, go-getter type that need to close on a deal fast. Thanks to Jim and his great network of professionals, we successfully closed on a house in just 3 weeks and 1 day.

Every step of the way, Jim kept us informed, took away the stress, and kept our needs and wants as a priority. In the home we purchased, we actually got everything we wanted and in our price range! He went above and beyond to fit our needs into a home and made sure we where completely satisfied..made sure the home we where getting into wasn't going to be a bad decision...so if he noticed something he would point it out and not just try to sell us any house which showed true character. He is prior service and works very well with military and understands how our schedule works which was a relief for me and to top it off he even helped me move into my new place 😊 Moving boxes and all. Couldn't be happier and would work with him again if I get a chance to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Jim was very professional, very quick to respond, and had the customer's best interest in mind. He is willing to tailor his search for available homes to your finest detail, and is only happy when you're happy. Jim did a great job in selling my home and assisting me in purchasing another. He went over and above in helping to get my previous home ready for sale (including touch ups inside the home) and made both processes go quite smoothly!

Jim did an amazing job selling our house for us! We put our house for sale during a time when the market was slowing down. Jim helped us navigate how to price our house during that change. Realtors can't see into the future, but Jim predicted it perfectly: we accepted an offer an offer on the house five days of it on the market and received more for it than we originally hoped. Not only did he price our home well, but he also went above and beyond in the services he offered us. He filled all our nail holes and painted over them. He also represented us at closing when we couldn't be there. His trustworthiness, reliability, and honesty make him a fantastic realtor. It was obvious that he had our best interests in mind. We have not always experienced this kind of care and integrity from realtors in the past, which made our experience with Jim that much more refreshing.

Jim was a great help in finding the perfect house for me. He did an awesome job finding different comparable houses to make sure I was getting the best deal. He was always on top of things gave me 100% of his attention to anything I needed.

He worked intensively throughout my process to expedite my closing process as well as help with little things to facilitate the ease of selling and buying two homes.
