. My passion is helping others and being a Real Estate Agent adds this and joy to my heart!

. 40 years in the housing business!

. Co-Owner of Sheridan Lumber and Supply Inc.

. My dad built custom cabinets when I was a child and later built houses when I was a teenager. My duties were cleaning and
sweeping out his shop and the homes he was building. Dad was also a minister and my mom was a piano teacher. When my
children were in Junior High School, I was a co-owner in the Sheridan Lumber and Supply store and my children now swept
and cleaned houses to make their way through college. So, this is why, I love serving people and I love the housing industry
    and especially people!

. I worked as a Branch Office Manager with Edward Jones Investments for over eighteen years, so I am comfortable helping my
clients with the biggest investment of their life. I also worked for the Arkansas school districts for many years as a registrar
so I am very detailed and a hard worker.

. I love spending time with my husband, he was my high school sweetheart, the loves of my life are also the children and
grandchildren and of course my friends as well. I love my country and have great respect for our veterans. I was raised as a
"preachers kid" so I believe in God's plan for our lives.

. We all have a purpose and season in our lives and during this season of my life my main goal is to help my clients have a
great experience with all their home buying, selling and investment needs.

    My Client Testimonials

During the Thanksgiving and Holiday seasons, I wanted to take the time to thank Melissa Kaye Pierce for all of her hard work on the selling of our home. She always called to inform us of the things that were going on. She went out of her way to travel to Monticello and met us at times at a halfway mark. We did not have a computer at the time, and she went over every detail of the paperwork so that we would understand what was going on before we signed. She is just precious, kind and caring. We will be moving to an assisted living facility but if we were to ever buy a home again, Melissa is the first one we would call. Thank you and love and blessings to you! Mary Jane S.

May 06, 2021 Selling Your Home

For several weeks, I struggled to get out of bed in the morning. My body felt heavy almost unable to move; I had to plead with myself to get out of bed each day. It was alarming to me because I have always been a morning person, that person who is a little too happy in the morning, eager to start the day; it drove my kids crazy growing up. The morning battle was so bad I decided the only explanation had to be that I was depressed! "Isn't that a symptom of depression? Inability to get o...
