I am extremely impressed with Gary. His willingness to assist me went beyond anything I could imagine. When I was first learning to use the computer, Gary seemed to make it his mission to see that I accomplished everything I set out to do.
Any time I had a question regarding something with the computer, I would call Gary hoping he had an answer. In a matter of minutes he was at my front door and eager to show me what to do. He explained what he was doing over and over until he was sure I understood.
I felt guilty calling him continuously, but he didn't care. He was there to help. He assisted me from the start of what I was doing until the very end. He was so much fun to work with, never getting upset if I didn't understand the first time. By the time he left, I had a good understanding of what he was teaching me.
He always seemed to know the latest technical data regarding the subject with which we were dealing. He was such a help I was upset when I found out he was moving. However, he was and still is very helpful and able to assist me even long distance. If he didn't know the answer, he would research the topic and get back to me with the information I needed. I have yet to find anyone like him I can count on to get me through tough computer issues. Although I wish he would move back, what he taught me must have sunk in because I am finding it easier to use his ideas/suggestions to figure things out on my own the majority of the time. The messages back and forth have lessened over time, but he still seems to find time to assist when I do have questions.
My philosophy is "What would Gary do in this situation"!
