Navigating the Happiest Holidays

    Navigating the Happiest Holidays

    Oct 28, 2020

November is quite literally right around the corner - in four short days to be exact - which means holidays, the election and winter are upon us. As everything has been since March, all of November's events are looking a little different this year.

Election Day is still happening and will be Tuesday, November 3. However, keep in mind that's when voting ENDS. Early voting has already come to a close for the state of South Carolina, but you may still mail in your ballots and of course, safely vote in-person at the polls on Nov. 3. No matter who you vote for, just vote! Everyone's vote matters and it's your American right, so be sure to exercise it!

Thanksgiving is one of the happiest holidays of the year and it should still be that way! If you're able to celebrate safely with friends and family, we are so happy for you and hope it somewhat salvages an odd year we've had. If you're not able to gather, remember, you can still be together virtually! It may not be quite the same, but hey, at least you can turn your camera off so no one judges you for making that third plate ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanksgiving is a holiday where we reflect on the year and acknowledge all the things we are thankful for and this year, we believe that to be more important than ever. With so much negativity and darkness happening in 2020, it's important and extremely valuable to recognize and celebrate the positivity and light that we still have.

If you plan to do any Black Friday shopping, here's a tip: be sure to look up retailers and such BEFOREHAND to be sure they're actually participating this year! A lot of bigger department stores, such as Walmart, have already declared they will not be doing Black Friday this year. And of course, be sure you're being safe with your mask and social distancing should you choose to go shopping. Don't forget, Cyber Monday is also a really great alternative to get deals from your favorite retailers and sites - and you don't even have to leave your house for them!

All in all, we wish very safe and very happy holidays this season and hope you all get to celebrate as best you can!!
