My approach to real estate is this: be kind, be responsive, pay close attention to detail, and NEVER SELL ANYTHING!
When I got my real estate license an extended family member said, "so you like sales, huh?" The word 'sales' had a certain tone to it as he said it. It was the tone that conjures up distasteful memories of pushy, slimy salespeople we have all encountered before. This was a watershed moment for me because it crystalized my real estate philosophy. You see, when this question was asked my reaction was surprise--I had never equated real estate with being a salesperson. And I still feel that way today. Real estate to me is not about sales, it's about connecting people to what they want. I don't sell anything to my buyers, I connect them with homes that they already want. I don't sell a home for my sellers, I connect them to buyers who already want their home. Once I have helped my buyer or seller make that connection and get under contract I keep making the connections--keeping all sides informed and getting lenders and title companies the information they need to close the deal on time.
I believe the best outcomes in real estate come from agents like me who never "sell" but always connect. I absolutely love helping my clients make those connections and I get a lot of satisfaction from exceeding their expectations in the process. I would love to opportunity to show you just how smooth and enjoyable the process can be when you ditch the agents who "sell" and choose to work with me.
