Protect Your Roof
If you don't keep up with the maintenance on your roof, you could face damaging and expensive problems. Here are a few simple things you can do to prevent costly repairs or replacement.
Trim overhanging branches. Leaves that collect on the roof may retain moisture and start to rot, which could damage shingles and other roofing structure
Check shingles & sealant. Regularly look for damaged or missing shingles and replace them. Also, inspect sealant for signs of cracking or wear and tear. Any damaged sealant should be completely removed and new sealant applied.
Clean the gutters. Clogged gutters prevent water from draining properly, and accumulated water can easily seep under the roofing structure and cause significant damage.
