- Dave Czarnecki Home Advisor and Realtor Advocate I am a life-long resident of Michigan, living in Grand Rapids with my high school sweetheart, Mary Jo. Together we raised a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Mary. Kyle is happily married to his wife, Nicole, and they have four great kids. I had the pleasure of helping them find their current home. Mary is single, serving as a Staff Seargant in the United States Air Force. I enjoy helping people. As a school bus driver, for Northview Public Schools, I helped shape the lives of elementary, middle, and high school students. After eight years as a bus driver I moved on to work as a home inspector, proudly owning my own company while serving West Michigan. After working 13 years as a home inspector I made the decision to go over to the other side and become a Realtor. As a home inspector I enjoyed working with home buyers, especially the first timers. I knew what it was like to own my first home and now, as a Realtor, helping them get a piece of the American dream is both satisfying and rewarding. Real estate is more than location. It also involves communication. The #1 reason that buy/sell transactions fall apart is due to the lack of communication between the Realtor and their client, according to the National Association of Realtors. I say this because communication was critical for my continued success as a home inspector. It was imperative that I communicated with my client, and their Realtor, regarding the availability of the home inspection report, and answer questions in a timely fashion, so that the buy/sell transaction could proceed quickly. Believe me, I wouldn't have lasted 13 years as a home inspector without recognizing the importance of communication. As your Realtor, I will tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear. You deserve the truth so you can make INFORMED decisions. I treated every home inspection as if it were for my own son or daughter. This philosophy led to many referral inspections from my client's family and friends. Referrals are why I became a Realtor, because it's not all about commissions. I want to earn your trust and will treat you like you were my own son or daughter buying or selling a home. After the transaction is complete I will be a resource for you to answer questions and point you to the right people to help with any repairs.
