“It’s in my blood …” Generations of incredibly determined, smart and creative entrepreneurial women guided me into the successful human I am today. With my Grandmother being one of the first female brokers in San Diego and my mother a successful Agent in Santa Barbara, the passion, poise and presence of Real Estate investing was proved essential and the key to financial peace of mind.
Growing up in Santa Cruz one of 7 siblings I was raised to procure my talents early, do my very best and to be resourceful. The beach was my babysitter and thus the California lifestyle was developed.
The time came to leave my overcrowded nest but with the love for both the ocean and the mountains, I desired to remain in coastal California. I had to work extremely hard both academically, financially and athletically to get into my choice college in Southern California. Education is power and earning my degree for History of Art & Architecture from the University California Santa Barbara is an accomplishment I hold proudly. This for knowledge has never left me and extends to my daily activities. If you wanna be able to perform to your best ability...listen to those who are, be better. I read the paper in the morning (yes the actual "paper" newspaper, I meditate for 5 minutes (cause I have a 5 yr old to get ready), and I best nourish my body and exercise for the best day to unfold. You can't sell what you don't know first hand so I educate myself daily on the current market, rates, listings and area trends.
Santa Barbara was also a place I truly started my Real Estate career. I bought my first condo, customized it while enjoying it, and used it to buy another rental.. and that’s when the value for real estate hit. Sometime down the road another love hit when I met my surfer husband and was “forced” to move to picturesque Carlsbad 😉. Fate that it was we both grew up in Santa Cruz, went to school in Santa Barbara and had a love for surf/snow that solidified Carlsbad as our perfect blend in lifestyle.
Being a 20 year homeowner here in Olde Carlsbad I can tell you first hand that there is absolutely no place like this on our California Coast. When I am not physically running through the streets of Carlsbad training, taking my 5 yr old little Grom to the weekly Farmers Market, navigating the secret school traffic or meeting up with my mama buddies for Yoga on State and coffee…I am working “like a mother” for my clients and their property needs. I am no stranger to executing what it takes to produce results on a large scale level. After cultivating an amazing career in Corporate Art Collecting and then Private Acquisitions, I built the most successful Art Gallery in La Jolla from the ground up with elite collectors in the ultra luxury marketplace. I found my success reflects not just my internal drive, but even more in the way I conduct myself. I have a theory that if I stay true to myself and not put on a false exterior, be honest, communicate intelligently, try to laugh and be authentic in my relationships then you will have a beautiful experience. I brokered out masterpieces on investment for Fortune 500 CEOs and selected small emotional treasures for the everyday art lover. I believe without a doubt that I am uniquely designed to lead clients through the acquisition of Real Estate and their tangible “Masterpiece” one calls HOME.
