Dan Birdwell believes homeownership can change lives—and that every client deserves an advocate who will go the extra mile. Licensed since 1998, Dan serves buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara counties. He specializes in residential properties, including one- to four-unit investments, bringing practical experience, persistence, and personal attention to every transaction.
Raised in Fremont and a Livermore resident since 1997, Dan brings deep local roots and an understanding of communities across the East and South Bay. His background in road construction, retail, and operations at Federal Express shaped his strong work ethic and commitment to service. After overcoming a serious spinal injury, he transitioned into real estate, finding lasting fulfillment in helping people achieve their goals.
Dan is especially motivated by complex situations. A resourceful problem solver, he approaches obstacles with determination, clear communication, and a willingness to keep working toward a solution. Whether guiding a first-time buyer, helping a seller navigate a transition, or evaluating an investment opportunity, he focuses on protecting his clients’ interests and helping them make informed decisions.
His commitment to service also extends to real estate leadership and mentorship. Dan served in management at Keller Williams from 2003 to 2007, joined Legacy Real Estate in 2010, and became manager of its Livermore office in 2014. His career includes ERA Circle of Achievement recognition and a team production record of approximately 65 transactions annually.
Beyond real estate, Dan has dedicated thousands of hours to nonprofit activities and coaching youth basketball, football, and baseball. Having lost his father at age 13, he credits his mother and influential coaches with helping him develop resilience, discipline, and compassion. Those experiences continue to inspire his belief that people can thrive with the right guidance, encouragement, and support.
A devoted Christian, father of three, and proud grandfather of three, Dan enjoys swimming, sports, reading scripture, and spending time with his family. He brings gratitude and purpose to his work each day, guided by a straightforward promise: Real Estate Done Right....
