Greg Goodwin
Greg Goodwin is a third-generation Coloradoan who has called the San Luis Valley home since 1983. A graduate of Sangre de Cristo High School and Adams State College with a degree in mathematics, Greg began his career teaching high school math before transitioning to real estate full-time in 2000.
Deeply rooted in the community, Greg grew up working in farming and ranching operations, where he gained firsthand knowledge of the San Luis Valley’s unique water rights. He purchased his first rental property before graduating college and has continued to invest in real estate ever since.
Throughout his real estate career, Greg has owned his own firm, Main Group Realty, and worked with other local brokerages before joining the Porter Realty team in 2011. In recognition of his dedication and professionalism, he was honored as the San Luis Valley Realtor of the Year in 2012. Today , he specializes in representing clients in the purchase and sale of single-family homes, farms and ranches, investment properties, and commercial real estate throughout Alamosa County and the San Luis Valley. His background in mathematics brings a logical, detail-oriented approach that helps clients navigate complex real estate decisions with confidence.
Greg is married to Jeni, who also sells real estate for Porter Realty. Together, they share a love for the San Luis Valley community and the Colorado lifestyle. In his free time, Greg enjoys pickleball, camping, hunting, riding ATVs, spending time with family and many other activities that allow him to experience the best of Colorado’s great outdoors.
