OUR STORY
I immigrated from Cuba in 1970 at eight years old, arriving in Miami with my family as we fled communism in search of freedom and opportunity. My parents worked tirelessly during those first years in the United States, determined to build a stable future. In 1976, after a two-year battle with cancer, my father passed away. My mother became his full-time caretaker, and from a very young age, my brother and I worked to help support our family.
Those early experiences shaped my belief in homeownership—not just as shelter, but as stability, dignity, and the foundation of generational wealth.
FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE TO PURPOSE
In 1996, I founded Countywide Properties, a full-service real estate company committed to helping first-time buyers and families build generational wealth through real estate. Our services grew to include residential, commercial, luxury, investment, and bank-owned properties.
In 2019, we joined the ERA network and became Countywide Properties ERA. This partnership allows us to offer:
