I have been selling real estate in the Sarasota County area for 30 years. As an agent, I have personally sold over 600 homes, condos, vacant land, and a few commercial properties in this area over my long career. As a broker who has owned a large brokerage office in Sarasota and Venice, I have also personally overseen the closing of thousands of more properties as well. I was originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in the early 1970s. I have a master's degree in psychology and research statistics. My family and I moved to the Venice area in the late 1980s and have found this area to be, what the locals refer to “As Just Another Day in Paradise”. I have been a licensed broker for over 18 years and a top 10 producing agent in the area multiple times over the last quarter of a century. Professionally I have served on a number of boards of directors; including StellarMLS a 66,000 member MLS system 5th. largest in the U.S. and the local Venice Area Board of Realtors (VABR). I have been chairman or co-chairman on many other MLS committees and advisory boards. I also served as chairman of the Code Enforcement Board for the City of Venice.
