Carmen Barreda is a dedicated real estate professional, serving as the 2025 President of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Atlanta and the Broker & Co-Owner of CMC Realty . With a strong focus on homeownership, agent development, and business growth, she is committed to helping real estate professionals succeed and families achieve their homeownership goals.
As the leader of CMC Realty, a Latina-owned brokerage, Carmen emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and mentorship. She works closely with agents to provide the training and resources needed to excel in the real estate industry. Her expertise includes residential real estate, business operations, and brokerage management.
Carmen’s passion for real estate was inspired by her mother, Carmela Moreno, who became a real estate agent to protect the Hispanic community from unethical practices. Together, they co-founded Mi Hogar en Atlanta, a trusted real estate team that has helped many Spanish-speaking homebuyers navigate the home buying process with confidence.
In her role as NAHREP Atlanta President, Carmen speaks on the importance of homeownership and wealth building, advocating for resources that support real estate professionals in their businesses. She works alongside industry leaders to provide professional development opportunities that help agents and brokers better serve their clients.
Outside of real estate, Carmen is actively involved in grassroots efforts through the nonprofit Creando Futuros, where she helps educate the community on financial literacy, computer skills, and other essential tools for success. She also enjoys spending time with her family and senior dog Bobby.
