Steven Fischer
Steven Fischer is a Savannah native who has been a full-time REALTOR® and member of the Savannah Area REALTORS® since 1986. Steven lists and sells both residential and commercial real estate, and he holds both the Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB) and the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations.
Steven is an active member of the Savannah Area REALTORS, the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS. In 1995 Steven was named REALTOR® of the Year for the Georgia Association of REALTORS®, making him the youngest person ever to receive that honor.
On the local level, he has been a continuous member of the prestigious Distinguished Sales Society every year since 1988! He was named REALTOR® of the Year for the Savannah Area REALTORS in 1989 and served as Board President in 1995. Steven received the Charles Fulton Award in 1996 for his ongoing leadership and support of REALTORS. In 2008 he received the first Konter Award given for over 20 years of continued service to the profession.
In 2018 Steven received the Philip M. Heidt Award which recognizes the real estate office Owner or Manager of The Year. Steven received the coveted SAR President’s Award in 2024. Steven served as President of the Savannah Multi-List Corporation in 1999. He received the SMLC President's award on two occasions, in 1994 and 2001. In 1998 he was installed as the first president of the newly formed CRS Coastal Georgia Sub-Chapter.
Through the years Steven has served on and chaired virtually every committee of the Savannah Area Realtors and the Savannah Multi-List Corporation.
On the state level, Steven has served as a GAR Director since 1991. He was elected president of the Young Council of REALTORS in 1993. He served as the Region 9 Director serving southeast Georgia and served in the Georgia REALTOR Vice President positions. Steven was elected President of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® in 2009. He is currently the chair of the GAR Insurance Trustees and President of the Georgia Real Estate Benefits Group, Inc.
In 2023 Steven was inducted into the Georgia REALTORS Hall of Fame, the highest honor bestowed by the State. The Hall of Fame Award recognizes members of GAR who have demonstrated consistent support of the REALTOR® organization for at least 30 years, and who have had a strong influence in the real estate industry. These individuals have proven themselves as champions of the REALTOR® association and captains of industry.
Through the years Steven has served on and chaired virtually every committee of the state association.
On the national level, Steven has served as a NAR Director since 2006. In 2000, he was inducted into the Omega Tau Rho fraternity for outstanding service. He has been a Major RPAC Investor since 1993 and is a Crystal R President’s Circle Member. Steven was elected the 2018 NAR Region 5 Vice President serving Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He was inducted into the National Association of REALTORS RPAC Hall Of Fame in 2019. Steven chaired the 2021 NAR Insurance Committee and worked closely with FEMA in developing Risk Rate 2.0.
Steven consistently qualifies for ERA Leaders Circle which recognizes agents who achieve the highest level of production in the ERA Franchise Network.
Steven was named to the Business Report and Journals Top 40 Under 40, an award for top achievers in the Savannah/Hilton Head area....
