Gwen Killion
Meet Your Realtor – Gwen Killion Gwen Killion has 29 years of real estate experience and is a top producer at Schuler Bauer ERA. She is a consistent, hard-working, full-time Realtor. Over the years, Gwen has served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, serving as Vice President in 2018. She has taught continuing education classes, served on several committees at GLAR, and enjoys giving back to her local real estate community. Gwen specializes in relocation to and from the Louisville, Prospect, and Oldham County areas. She is a Certified Relocation Specialist and works closely with Cartus, Sirva, Aires, Graebel, and Plus Relocation. Some of her corporate clients include UPS, Baptist East, Kroger, GE, Raytheon, and the University of Louisville. Gwen is a native of Louisville and grew up in Indian Hills. She attended Sacred Heart Academy, has a BS from Vanderbilt, plus a Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Counseling Psychology. After a six-year career in Houston, TX as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Gwen and her husband Kent longed to raise a family in a smaller city, and they moved to her hometown of Louisville, KY. It was a fantastic decision—though her Texan husband still longs for the good Mexican food he left behind! Moving to Louisville brought with it some big changes. Gwen decided to join her family in the real estate business, putting her marketing, sales, and psychology training to use in a different way. The Hettinger name was well known in Louisville for homebuilding and real estate development, so when her father broke ground on The Estates of Hunting Creek in Prospect, Gwen had become a Realtor and was there from day one. As her real estate business soared, she knew she had found her calling. Gwen and her husband Kent live in Prospect and have three children, now all young adults, living in Colorado and New Jersey. When not gaining airline miles visiting the kids, Gwen can be found cheering at lacrosse games, sitting by the pool at Hunting Creek Country Club, and cooking great Italian food for family and friends.
