A lifelong Massachusetts resident originally from Chelsea, Roy combines local market knowledge with extensive professional experience. He graduated from Babson College with a double major in Marketing and International Business Studies and later earned a Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. Roy obtained his Massachusetts real estate salesperson license in 2003 and earned his broker license in 2007.
In addition to his private real estate career, Roy previously served as Project Manager for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Office of Real Estate and Asset Development, where he worked on the disposition, leasing, and redevelopment of publicly controlled properties. In this role, he collaborated with major Boston-area developers, municipalities, community organizations, and public officials on large-scale development projects, feasibility analysis, and public-private partnerships.
Roy is also widely recognized for his commitment to public service and community development. He served for 20 years as a Chelsea City Councilor and also held positions on the Chelsea Planning Board and Chelsea Licensing Board. His extensive public-sector experience provides clients with valuable insight into zoning, permitting, municipal processes, housing policy, economic development, and local government relations.
