Diego Sotomeneses
Real Estate Salesperson
Starkville, MS
I’m Diego Sotomeneses, a proud Ecuadorian native who migrated to the United States at the age of 18 in pursuit of opportunity and service. My journey led me to the U.S. Army, where I served with honor and retired as a veteran. After my military career, I continued serving my community through law enforcement—first with the Starkville Police Department, then with the Mississippi State Police Department, and later at the Center for America's Veterans at Mississippi State University. These experiences shaped my commitment to public service, integrity, and community empowerment.
Today, I’m honored to be part of ERA Town & Campus Realty in Starkville, MS. I am able to bring my discipline, bilingual communication skills, and deep understanding of compliance and public trust to the real estate world with me. My mission is to help families and individuals navigate the home buying process with clarity, respect, and care especially those from diverse backgrounds who may feel overwhelmed by the system. I believe real estate is more than transactions; it’s about building roots and creating safe, thriving spaces for every member of our community.
Starkville isn’t just where I work—it’s where I live, raise my family, and train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a passion that keeps me grounded and focused. I love this town deeply. From its vibrant neighborhoods to its resilient people, Starkville has given me purpose, pride, and a place to give back. Whether through real estate, education, or mentorship, I’m here to serve and uplift the community that welcomed me with open arms.
