Having lived in the Asheville area for over 30 years, I have seen this area slowly transform and blossom into what it is today. I cannot imagine living anywhere else! I am a graduate of UNC-Asheville, former elementary school teacher, and mom to tow grown children. I currently reside with my furry companions - all adopted or rescued. In addition to several cats and dogs, I have created an animal sanctuary for abused, neglected and/or unwanted farm animals. I currently provide a forever home to 10 goats and 3 donkeys. My diverse employment background and undeniable love of the outdoors has helped me explore and learn more about amazing and beautiful WNC.
