Kristine Nelson
Real Estate Broker
Cornelius, NC
Finding the right home or making the decision to sell one requires more than market knowledge. It takes an experienced real estate professional who understands the area, listens carefully, and helps clients move forward with confidence.
Kristine Nelson is the Broker-in-Charge of ERA Live Moore's Cornelius office and has called the Lake Norman and Charlotte area home since 2003. Originally from Wisconsin, she attended the University of Minnesota, where she studied Chemistry. Her move to North Carolina was initially intended to be a stepping stone, but she quickly fell in love with Lake Norman, the greater Charlotte region, and the people who make this area such a special place to live. More than two decades later, she is proud to call it home.
Real estate has been part of Kristine's life from an early age. She grew up in a family deeply involved in commercial and investment real estate, which gave her an early understanding of property, value, and the opportunities real estate can create. Her path eventually led her to residential real estate, where she found a natural fit in helping people navigate important decisions about buying and selling a home.
As both a practicing real estate professional and Broker-in-Charge, Kristine brings a strong understanding of the local market, pricing strategy, negotiation, contracts, and the transaction process. She works with buyers and sellers throughout Lake Norman and the Charlotte area, offering thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and a practical approach to each step of the process.
Kristine understands that every real estate decision is personal. Whether a client is searching for the right home, preparing a property for the market, relocating to the area, or considering an investment, she focuses on making the process clear and manageable. Known for her professionalism, warmth, and straightforward advice, she takes the time to understand what matters most to her clients and helps them make informed decisions with confidence.
Never far from Kristine's side is her working K9, Jari. Born in Serbia, Jari has settled comfortably into life around Lake Norman and, according to Kristine, much prefers the lakes of North Carolina. Dobermans have been a passion of Kristine's since she was young, and she also volunteers with Dogwood Doberman Rescue in Charlotte.
For Kristine, real estate is about more than property. It is about people, relationships, community, and helping clients make smart decisions about where they live and what comes next....
