After graduating from Tuscola High School, Rick attended Western Carolina University where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. Upon beginning his real estate career, Rick worked in Jackson County and surrounding areas. He is the former President of the Northern Jackson County Board of Realtors. Having always lived in the Waynesville area of Haywood County, Rick returned to Haywood County to work in his hometown. Rick is married and has two children. Rick is also a member of Mindframe, a band in which his plays percussion. He is a member of the Haywood County Board of Realtors.
