I am a licensed Realtor specializing in residential real estate in Westchester County. I consider myself the ultimate coach and guide to the real estate process, from the first step all the way through closing and beyond. Buying a home is one of life’s biggest goals and purchases. I know what it takes to make that vision a reality; I practice attentiveness, support and advocacy to assure my clients are knowledgeable throughout the transaction and reach their goals.
My business experience as an owner of multiple self-managed residential properties since 1995, combined with my extensive career in public relations, communication and marketing, means my clients benefit from my knowledge and experience at many different levels.
I grew up in Singapore but have lived in NY since 1981. I come from a long line of immigrants in my family; from Yemen in the 1800’s to then colonial Indonesia and Singapore. Besides English, I speak Indonesian and Malay. After attending an American high school as an exchange student, I returned a few years later as a young wife and mother, intent on seizing every opportunity America offers. I graduated college with a Public Relations and Marketing degree from Iona College and forged a public service career with the Westchester County government that lasted over 25 years. In addition to my foray into real estate, I started my own catering service in my “spare time”. I launched a personal quest to travel the world while teaching English, and currently serve as an adjunct faculty member for Westchester Community College where I teach English to immigrants. I have lived and worked in Singapore, NY, Hawaii and Turkey and still love traveling, exploring new cuisines, languages and cultures.
