Originally from Greenville , SC, Heather's main goal is to make every client a client for life. As a successful, full time Realtor in the lowcountry for the past 13 years, she has extensive knowledge of Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
You may hear the locals call her "Sugarbaker" She has answered to that nickname for almost 18 years now. Northern friends used to tell her that she reminded them of the ladies from the show, Designing Women whose company was Sugarbaker & Associates.
Heather has been married to her husband, Larry, for 22 years and have been low country residents for 18 years. Heather enjoys being Larry's top cheerleader when he runs marathons around the lowcountry. Larry is an Air Force Veteran so assisting military families with housing is close to her heart.
She credits her parents for her strong work ethic and compassion for others. Heather was recently recognized with 2016 Leader's Circle Award from ERA Real Estate. She is a Certified Negotiation Expert,ERA Distinctive Properties Member and Certified Network Affinity Specialist with Navy Federal.
Heather is a Board Member of the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors, Beaufort County MLS, Chairperson of Jasper County Realtors Group, South Carolina Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She also is a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary. Heather is a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity.
Heather participates in Realtors Helping Real People, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
