Karen Jones is a long-time resident of Lexington County having over 12 years experience as a Property Manager. Karen has worked with The Moye Company at Gentle Pines Apartments in West Columbia for the past 10 years and before that at Pinewood Apartments in Cayce. During that time Karen brought Gentle Pines Apartments from 53 percent of occupancy to over 90 percent of occupancy in less than 3 months and 100 percent of occupancy in 1 year.Karen has managed apartments, duplexes and houses in Richland and Lexington counties.Karen is married to Jimmy Jones and will celebrate their 33rd anniversary in November. Karen helped found Christ Central Ministries, a faith-based ministry working with homeless and impoverished men, women and children of our community. In 1994 we fed the first homeless man and today Christ Central has over 100 locations throughout South Carolina.Jimmy's early professional career included involvement in family owned businesses in construction and home furnishing in Lexington. Jimmy and Karen have one son J. Tyler Jones who served our country in Afghanistan, as a U. S. Army Calvary Scout. Tyler is currently involved with Christ Central Ministries as well as a free-lance photographer, videographer and blogger in Bali, Indonesia.
