Megan Whitaker Strickland is a native of Sumter, South Carolina. She was born and raised in Sumter where her grandfather and father opened a cabinet business over 40 years ago. Megan attended Sumter public schools and was very involved in sports and academics. She Graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Family and Consumer Science and moved back to Sumter to teach in the public school system of her hometown.
Megan has been married to her husband Ryan for 15 years. He is a field support engineer with Rockwell Automation. They have 3 children, ages 14, 12, and 10.
After being a stay at home mom for 6 years, Megan became a Realtor in 2010. She enjoys working with families to help make their home buying and selling experiences as smooth as possible. She is honest, open, and hard working for all of her clients. She listens to her clients list of needs and wants and will always try to make their dreams a reality. She is knowledge of the area and can help you find just the right spot for you to call home.
Above all, Megan enjoys being a mom to her 3 children. She is very involved in volunteering with PTA, coaching parks and recreation soccer teams for her children, and being on the School Improvement Council for Alice Drive Elementary School.
Megan is also involved as a leader in youth group at her church.
She enjoys outdoor recreation activities with her family such as boating, hiking, and, camping. She enjoys gardening, home renovations, sewing, cooking, and baking with her children.
