Marilyn is a native Austinite, so she KNOWS this City! She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, TX and her Master’s Degree from The University of Phoenix in Houston, TX. Shortly after earning her degrees, Marilyn moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked in the Insurance Industry for over 15 years and later retired from CNN News Center as a State Accountant.
After twenty years as a “Georgia Peach,” Marilyn returned to her home state of Texas, and immediately became employed with several local school districts serving as an At-Risk Interventionist, District Attendance Coordinator, and Elementary School Teacher.
Her love and passion for helping people has not gone unnoticed, from becoming a household name to her students and families, to a collaborator and partner in the community. As a real estate agent, Marilyn’s mission is two-fold: (1) Make families' home-buying experience easy and stress free; and (2) Make families excited to come home! My Goal: “Making My Home Your Home”.
