Karen Miller
I am a long-time resident of Newport News, Virginia and have decades of experience as a real estate professional; I can match individuals and families with quality properties across the Peninsula and in the Hampton Roads community. I understand the variables involved in relocating households from my service in the military. I served in the military for over twenty years and as a military spouse and mother. I know the importance of expediting closures regarding relocations, schedules, transfers, schools, housing, etc. To ensure clients receive exceptional service, I stay abreast of developments in the industry and remain goal oriented with their needs and expectations foremost. I begin an endeavor with the end goal in mind. I am known by all to be loyal, forthright, dedicated, a hard worker and above all honest. When signing on for a task or project, and a problem is encountered, I will investigate it, analyze its components and work on the issue or situation to reach a just conclusion. I am known to keep confidentialities at all costs both in business and personal matters.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Association of Realtors, the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. I recognize the importance of education, therefore, I pursued and obtained the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation along with the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation and e-PRO certification (e-PRO). I have a B.S. degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in Management. I am an award-winning agent who has been recognized for success with numerous awards including Rookie of the Year, Top Agent, Million Dollar Club and the local real estate association’s Platinum Award. I’ve also been recognized by a military organization for the work I’ve done in the community.
I am an active resident in my community. My affiliation with public service organizations, religious and local governmental offices affords me an opportunity to serve as a tutor, youth golf coach, voter’s registration and mobilization volunteer, an elections official, military mentor, and a host of other opportunities. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, traveling and spending quiet time reading.
