Erik Ulvog is a Milwaukee native and lifelong cheese-head. Graduating from Vincent High School in 1990, Erik served in the US Army Reserves as a Non Commissioned Officer and earned a bachelor of science in 1995 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Shortly thereafter, he started his real estate career in 1996 and went to work for Wauwatosa Realty (now known as Shorewest Realtors) in 1997. He credits his early and quick success to his sales manager Wendy Ekstrom who had a tireless commitment to developing successful agents and she left a lasting impression with him on what it takes to be both an agent and a manager.
In 2017 Erik started myPro Realty on his dining room table with his cousin Joe Liban and faithful business partner Jes Klimas Reish. One year later trusted friend and colleague Jeff Kaus joined the firm and Erik’s wife came aboard in a support role. myPro’s continued growth comes from the myPro Agent’s committed emphasis on personal development. Erik’s believes in creating a business environment that develops meaningful relationship to help his agents and myPro clients navigate significant life decisions for the buyers and sellers. He believes myPro agents are consummate professionals who focus on providing full service real estate solutions specifically designed for every client’s personal situation.
On a personal level, Erik married the daughter of an Iowa cattle farmer and has two wonderful children, Evelyn and Will. He has a love for the outdoors, architecture, bird hunting and book reading. He’s actively engaged in developing young men for the challenges of work, marriage, life and kids. When he’s not doing the business of real estate, he is usually thinking about how to do it better. He is currently attending graduate school studying to stay sharp and he supports several local non-profits. He’s the past president of his neighborhood association and a proud member of the Platypus Circle at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. Erik is a huge fan of the red panda exhibit and is grateful for the conservation work the organization does locally and overseas. Clients of myPro Realty receive free access to the Zoo for up to eight people with parking included, its Erik’s commitment to the community and families that drives him.
