On September 1st, former chief operating officer Sue Yannaccone’s promotion to president and CEO of ERA Real Estate became official. On behalf of the entire ERA Real Estate network, we wanted to extend a huge “congratulations” to Sue! In honor of the announcement, we’re highlighting Sue’s outlook for the future as well as some of her accomplishments from the last year, since joining ERA Real Estate in July 2015.
Bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience to the brand, Sue is no stranger to the dynamic environment of real estate. As an integral member of ERA Real Estate’s executive leadership team, she has leveraged her knowledge and experience to propel growth by enhancing the brand’s value proposition to brokers and improving agent productivity.
Recent franchisee satisfaction survey results conducted by a third party vendor revealed a notable increase in broker satisfaction with the brand since Sue came on, which is attributed to recent enhancements to the brand’s servicing structure and focus, on-site training and leadership’s promotion of a collaborative culture.
Over the next 5 years, Sue is looking forward to continuing to drive growth for the ERA brand. She plans to leverage the momentum Charlie Young has generated to expand into new markets, grow the ERA affiliate base through mergers and acquisitions and increase agent satisfaction and performance by implementing new tools to increase productivity.
Sue will continue to serve on several committees for Realogy, and is the Chair of the Women’s Employee Resource Group, established earlier this year to maximize opportunities for women at Realogy. She was named a 2015 Housing Wire Woman of Influence and in 2016, Sue was honored by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a Woman Worth Watching.
On the rare occasions when Sue has downtime, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Samantha, and husband, Jeff, reading books and making homemade pizza. She often starts her day with a run and a cup of coffee, and has recently taken up learning golf.
Congratulations again! We can’t wait to see what the future hold for the brand under her leadership.
