President & Chief Executive Officer
Sherry Chris currently serves as president and CEO of the Realogy Expansion Brands portfolio, which include Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate, ERA® and Climb Real Estate®, focusing her efforts on guiding the strategic growth of the brands within the division. Sherry most recently served as president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Under her leadership, the brand grew significantly across more than 40 states and 6 countries, and established a unique position as real estate’s lifestyle brand.
Well-known for building brands based on next-generation consumer insights along with her innovative marketing and sales acumen, Chris’s tech-forward mindset has been proven to usher brands to the next level in the industry which she serves. She is a strong advocate of engaging with businesses and consumers through social media channels – making her the most followed CEO of a national real estate brand on Twitter.
Chris currently serves on advisory boards for the National Association of REALTORS® Real Estate Services program, the Asian Real Estate Association of America Education Foundation, New Story Charity, a certified 501(c)(3), that builds safe homes and transforms slums into thriving communities in developing countries. In December 2018, Chris was appointed as a strategic advisor to Wine Society, a premium wine subscription company, in the development and growth of the company’s mission and business plan, in efforts to build brand awareness and move the wine industry forward in the same ways she has done for real estate.
She has been recognized seven years consecutively as one of Inman’s 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders. Additional accolades include the Swanepoel Power 200 list, named a Luminary in RISMedia’s Newsmakers list, an industry Gamechanger by REAL Trends, one of the Most Influential Real Estate Executives by Real Estate Executive Magazine and Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Diversity Leader and Women Worth Watching lists.
Chris is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and earned an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Chief Operating Officer
Rich DeNicola currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Realogy Expansion Brands portfolio, which includes Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate and ERA®. He is responsible for domestic and international business operations, financial management, franchise performance consulting, network engagement and brand growth strategy for the portfolio.
Prior to his current role, DeNicola served as Chief Operating Officer of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, as well as Senior Vice President of Membership Development for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. During his tenure, the brand more than doubled its franchised office count and expanded to sixteen new states and the Bahamas.
Before joining Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, DeNicola served as National Vice President of Franchise Sales for Coldwell Banker, overseeing the brand growth and mergers/acquisitions strategies in both the United States and Canada. DeNicola has served in a variety of sales and operational roles for Realogy Franchise Group since 2004.
Rich earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT and holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ.
Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer Marchetti is the Chief Marketing Officer for the Realogy Expansion Brands portfolio, including Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate and ERA®. She leads the teams responsible for brand marketing strategy, direct marketing, online marketing, franchise sales marketing, and communications for the portfolio. She most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Under her leadership, the brand developed its unique lifestyle marketing offering, including the Expect Better® campaign, the PinPointSM direct marketing tool, and the real estate industry’s most engaged social media strategy.
Prior to joining Realogy, Jennifer was Wyndham Worldwide’s Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for the Wyndham Family of Brands, where she was responsible for strategic planning, global marketing, loyalty marketing, and e-commerce strategies for the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts®, TRYP by Wyndham®, Wingate by Wyndham®, and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham® brands. Jennifer spent nine years with Wyndham Worldwide and its parent company, Cendant Corporation. During her tenure, she held other positions including Director of Marketing for Cendant Preferred Alliance and Senior Director of Strategy at Wyndham Hotel Group.
Jennifer began her career as the Director of Corporate Communications with Trilogy, Inc., a privately-held software company based in Austin, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University with a minor in Art History.
Senior Vice President, Development
As Senior Vice President, Development, for the Realogy Expansion Brands portfolio, Diana oversees the teams and strategies designed to fuel the growth of Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate and ERA® Real Estate into new markets. In her prior role as Senior Vice President, Franchise Sales for ERA Real Estate, Diana was responsible for growing the network through conversions, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, executing on a strategy designed to propel ERA forward.
Diana is an experienced executive in strategic execution and business development with more than 31 years of leading and mentoring business professionals worldwide. In 1993, she joined RE/MAX and held a variety of roles during her 21 years with the organization and became the first franchise sales consultant in company history to sell more than 100 franchises in a ten-year period.
After 28 years in franchising, Diana switched industries, always intrigued by healthcare. She joined Air Methods, the world’s largest air medical transport company and as vice president overseeing the national business development team, she increased request volume for transports by 5%, a company record.
Diana serves on the board for Volunteers of America and also serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. She is an Executive in Resident at the University of Denver, mentoring students and guest lecturing in the classroom.
