Schuler Bauer Real Estate Services ERA Powered is a family owned and operated
real estate firm that's grown through numerous mergers and acquisitions. The
company traces its roots back to 1967, when Buzz Bauer Realtors opened its doors
in New Albany. David Bauer continued his father's legacy and helped grow the
company. In 1980, Tony Schuler founded Schuler Realty and partnered with DJ
Hines. A few years later, Barbara Popp partnered with Tony and DJ to continue
the growth and success of the company. In 2010, Barbara sold her shares to focus
on growing her real estate sales and serving her community. By the time the two
leading companies merged in 2000, each had absorbed a number of smaller firms.
