This Victorian home was built in 1901 and sits proudly on Grant Street, right in the heart of Grant Park. The records preserved by the Atlanta History Center confirm its early provenance, and the details throughout the home confirm its place as one of the neighborhood's architectural treasures. Wide front porches, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and four fireplaces with ornate majolica tile surrounds set the stage. Even more rare are the original coved ceilings, sometimes called Pullman ceilings, thought to be inspired by the home's first owner, who worked for the Atlanta Rail Car Company.
