The lot originated from a subdivision, which was approved by the Township and County and recorded at the County in or around 1940. Since then, the zoning performance standards have become more and more restrictive in the township. And, as a result, this lot is now non-conforming based on modern performance standards. Despite the fact that the lot is now non-confirming, it is grandfathered. It is because it is a pre-existing, approved, and recorded lot.
