Beautiful rolling hills topography with large century old live oak trees scattered through out the 100 acres. Ranch is located just 25 to 30 minutes from Georgetown. Range Management The Ranch grazing management is controlled with 15 primary pastures for rotaton. These pastures are differed each year for rest and possible prescribed burns. The other twelve pastures are rotated through approximately every week. This allows 84 days of rest before the herd is back in each pasture. The Texas Parks and Wildlife did a study that indicated that every 90 days in the Hill Country there is a significant rain (at least 2 ½ inches) Each of the pastures has a 1 inch poly line that provides water to a ¾ freeze protected hose bib. The main line is 2 inches and runs 2 ½ miles through the Ranch. All lines are buried two feet below ground which is below the freeze line.
