My name is Sherry Nowak Cascini. I have been a real estate agent now for 6 years. I am fortunate enough to work as part of a team. I am also a real estate paralegal and find that knowing the process of closing helps when selling and buying a house not just for myself but to help explain the process to the buyer and sellers.
I truly enjoy working with people, knowing the market and understanding not just what makes a house move from the market but structurally understanding a house. It is very important to know things like what is a septic system and what does it do, what is a water softener and what does it do, how old is the roof, the difference between a boiler system and a furnace and how they heat a home. It is important to keep in mind that not every person (buyer) you work with is aware of our housing market or how our upstate New York homes were or are built.
I love animals of all shapes and sizes and donate a lot of my spare time in fostering and transporting kitty cats and dogs from kill shelters.
