I moved to Payson Arizona in 1996. I fell in love with the Rim Country with its beauty, small town charm, clean air, climate and hiking & biking trails, the amazing mountain views, the bluest skies I've ever seen in my life, sunsets to dusk, the evening milky ways & falling stars that illuminate the evening and so much more.
The town of Payson has grown since our arrival. The population is approximately 15,000 and increases to approximate 28,000 in the summer months with many second homeowners. We have many restaurants, 2 private golf clubs, a Wal-mart, expansions at Rumsey Park, a library and so much more.
Payson has an elevation of 5000 feet and surrounded by millions of acres of National Forest which enables a pristine environment. The climate is excellent and offers moderate summer temperatures in the low to mid 90s, winters with crisp & freezing temperatures and the occasional snow. Spring & fall are usually in the mid 70s.
