I began my real estate career in 1999 when the youngest of my two children turned 17 years old. I felt it was time to take on a new role as a professional business woman never realizing I would love being a Realtor Mom so much. Being a Realtor Mom fit my nurturing personality. I won the Rookie of the Year Award in my first full year of real estate and have won Top Producing Awards ever since. My ability to provide top customer service is how I have achieved Top Producer status each year. I believe: "If you treat people the way you would like to be treated and you always look for their wants and their needs, not your own, the business comes naturally."
I've also received the Community Impact Award both for my office and for the Coastal Association of Realtors. This Community Impact Award is very important to me. It humbles me. I enjoy giving back to the community, supporting the Alzheimer's Foundation and helping the Humane Society. I am always available to help my clients with worthwhile fundraisers and events for their children. This is my way of giving back to the local community that has given me so much.
I believe keeping current in real estate related education and causes is essential. Having served on the Coastal Association’s Political Affairs Committee, I have been involved in legislation that protected the real estate market. I've also helped endorse candidates for local and state elections that our Committee felt were looking out for the Real Estate Industry. I have held the Senior Residential Specialist Designation, Accredited Buyer Representative Designation , and I'm trained as a Relocation Specialist. This training helps my Buyers and Sellers and I've used it throughout my career for all my clients. Strong communication with my clients has been the key my customer service. I pride myself on keeping in touch with past clients and making sure current clients understand everything that is going on in the real estate market. This could include: new listings to buy or keeping sellers aware of the trends and listings that can affect their particular home.
I have sold new construction projects, condo units on the Salisbury City Plaza, homes in our rural communities of Delmarva, beautiful waterfront properties, land to build your dream home, and everything in between. I've acted as both the buyers agent and the sellers agent. I promise each client they are always well represented in these transactions. I enjoy working well with other real estate agents and brokers to ensure every real estate transaction is done properly, fairly, honestly, and successfully for both sides.
