Born in the Fiji Islands, Anjie lived all over the world with her husband before he retired from the Army, and she speaks many languages. With their last station at Ft. Dix Army base in Burlington County, the couple planted their roots in Mansfield Township where they raised their daughter.
Anjie's daughter, Arissa Kumar, grew up going to open houses and showing appointments with her mom. Now an integral part of Team Kumar, Arissa works with buyers, oversees home inspections, and does incredible home staging. Another member of Team Kumar is Kim Rogers, an adept transaction coordinator responsible for all the behind-the-scenes magic.
When she is not consulting with clients, Anjie can be found gardening, doing yoga, or catching a show in New York City. She is the owner and biggest cheerleader of The Vaders, a local cricket team, and she also finds joy giving back to the community by volunteering and supporting her favorite charities, such as SEWA, ONE Project NJ, NBC Arts Program, and others in the Northern Burlington County and Mercer County areas.
